Could there be a more creative twist to the classic vegetable we know as Mr. Potato Head? Sure, you could make french fries or potato salad out of him, but I do think *dutchie17 has hit the nail on the head with this one.

The couch potato is a well-known phenomenon that occurs primarily in the USA, but has been increasingly reported throughout Europe and the Americas alike. However, this is the first deviantART has ever set sights on, notably in emote form!

A beautifully pixeled couch, an even more amazingly pixeled Mr. Potato Head, and stunning attention to detail renders this piece something great to look at after a hard day and cheer up to. I especially love the television light flickering on him and his couch, which just adds to the superiority of this deviation.

The only thing I can see wrong with this piece is that a couch potato seen its natural habitat will generally be either slouching, laying, or otherwise lazily sitting on the couch, attempting to achieve complete physical absence and forfeiture of mobility. Also, his eyes are too wide-open. A typical couch potato's eyes can be observed as "half-open, seemingly drifting in and out of consciousness" (Sightseer's Guide to Wildlife 116).
Perhaps give this guy a bag of potato chips, and the irony will too much for the DD-givers to ignore.
